We have been informed by the AMA that the FAA’s UAS registration requirement which had been previously overturned has been reinstated by Congress and the law was signed by President Trump this past Tuesday, December 12th. The good news is that for those who already registered, your registration is still good. For all others, including those who requested refunds and removal from the registration list, you will need to register once again and adhere to FAA requirements. A link to the AMA’s Federal Registration site is provided below and you can go there for additional information. Please note that FAA registration is not required by Hemet Model Masters and we will not be checking or monitoring compliance with the FAA registration requirements. This message is being posted only as a courtesy to our members to make them aware of the new law.
